Festival Evaluation Team Recruitment

We're looking to recruit freelance support to help us evaluate our festivals this summer.

We are looking for Festival Evaluation Team Members to support the fantastic outdoor arts programmes at Journeys Festival International on 22 and 23 July and Re/action Festival on 26 and 27 August.

You will have the chance to join in both of our festivals and experience the delivery of our events from an exciting inside perspective. You’ll be part of the public-facing team at our festival and engage our audience members with feedback surveys.

Our two festivals will bring the streets of Leicester to life with world-class performances, installations, exhibitions and creative activities across the city centre, and all for free. The programme at Journeys Festival International ranges from outdoor shows, circus, dance, hip-hop and virtual reality blending with live performance to even an urban safari. At Re/action Festival, we will explore Creativity for the Climate with marvellous work by artists who address the climate emergency, share their skills, offer workshops in repurposing/reusing, and celebrate Leicester’s diversity.

Evaluation Team

We’re looking for motivated freelance support staff to help us capture audience surveys at Journeys Festival International and Re/action Festival this summer.

Evaluation Team Members are required to conduct audience surveys to contribute to Arts Council England evaluation reports.

The role consists of using a tablet-based survey system and approaching members of the audience at our events to conduct a feedback survey. All equipment and training will be provided.

We’re seeking outgoing freelance workers who are confident in approaching members of the public and have an interest in arts festivals and performances.

We’ll be recruiting 10 evaluation team members in total and preference will be given to those who can attend all of both festivals.

Please note: Only for registered freelance workers to apply – you will be responsible for paying tax and national insurance associated with this fee.
