We’re aiming to make Leicester more accessible and inclusive – so everyone can be All In. As a group, we’re meeting on a regular basis to assess accessibility in Leicester’s cultural venues and how to increase awareness of and improve accessibility standards.
Each month we visit a different venue around the city to investigate, explore and assess ways in which each venue could improve its accessibility. We also celebrate good accessibility and share new ideas with the venues to encourage further use of positive practise. Improving access to cultural engagement so that we can be All In.
The All In Leicester group is a group of people with varying accessibility requirements from different backgrounds. All In Leicester is a fully inclusive group and we aim to provide BSL at our venue visits.
All are welcome, especially those with access needs – we need your help to make these as representative as possible! We do ask for a week’s notice for access considerations, so we can work with the venue to get things in place ahead of the audit. Please contact hello@allinleicester.org.uk
