Nuneaton and Bedworth’s Cultural Survey

We’re asking local people what they want to see and do in the area over the next few years.

Together with Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council and the local communities, we’re developing a new cultural strategy for Nuneaton and Bedworth – planning for the next 5 years of cultural activity in the borough.

Our team now wants to find out more about local people’s experiences of cultural or creative activities like music or concerts, arts and crafts, theatre or performances, dance, local heritage, activities for wellbeing and how the local community chooses to spend its free time.

We want to hear your big ideas for the future too!

Fill out the simple survey until 23 September here

You can also pick up a paper version of the survey from your local library, or leisure centre and from Nuneaton Museum.

If there is an event, festival, celebration or any other type of cultural activity you were always dreaming of happening in Nuneaton and Bedworth, now is the time to tell us about it! The more opinions and ideas we hear, the better we can plan to meet your needs.

The teams at Art Reach and the local authority also intend to involve creative consultation tools in the process. The fantastic group of street theatre artists The Bureau of Silly Ideas, who have performed and entertained audiences all over the world, will be on hand at several summer events to encourage people to share their ideas and ambitions. Two free Picnic in the Park events will form a key part of these consultations with the team from The Bureau of Silly ideas appearing at:

  • 10 August 12.00pm – 3.00pm Riversley Park, Nuneaton
  • 17 August 12.00pm – 3.00pm Bailey Park, Bedworth

These events are aimed at families and all activities are free of charge.

To have more people input their ideas, please also share the survey with your friends and colleagues:
