Milton Keynes Islamic Arts and Culture is Seeking a Dynamic Programme Manager

We're on the lookout for a talented Programme Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering MKIAC’s exciting programme of high-quality festivals, events, and community activities over the next three years.

Milton Keynes Islamic Arts, Heritage and Culture Organisation (MKIAC) is at an exciting point of expansion fuelled by recent funding success as part of Arts Council England’s National Portfolio Organisation (NPO) programme. With innovative creative plans on the horizon, MKIAC is eager to welcome a dynamic Programme Manager to join the team and make an important contribution to achieving our vision and mission. 

As MKIAC’s Programme Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of NPO programme delivery, overseeing budgeting, fundraising, and reporting. Collaborating closely with the Founding Director, artists, facilitators, and other contractors, you’ll be instrumental in bringing a diverse range of creative programmes and projects to life, including key public-facing events like Art in the Park and The City of Codes and Light Festival. 

The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in successfully delivering participatory activities and a wealth of experience in engaging with diverse communities. Overview of terms and conditions: 

Salary & Contract: £30,000 to £32,000

Contract type/length: Fixed contract until 31 March 2027 (possibility of extension) 40 hours per week

Location: MKIAC – Milton Keynes Office based at Milton Keynes College
