We are usually able to accept walk-ins for most classes but we greatly appreciate having you register online in advance. In the case where space or supplies are limited, preference will be given to those who have registered. On the flip side, classes may be cancelled due to low advance registrations. You registering in advance helps us better prepare to give you a great art experience AND means that we’ll be able to notify you if there are last minute changes or notices for a class.
We offer classes for all ages and abilities with the goal of providing arts access to everyone. Our regular programming includes…

Canvas & Cookies
Looking for a fun activity for you and your spouse, or friends? How about you and your favorite teenager? OR maybe you’re looking for a creative activity to do while getting in some “me time?” Canvas and Cookies is the perfect class! ArtReach staff will teach participants step-by-step to replicate an acrylic artwork in a non-intimidating and laid back atmosphere. While there is guidance through the whole process, there is also great opportunity to use your own creativity as well to make your painting more unique if you wish. Plus, we have cookies. No prior art experience required! These classes are generally $25 per person.
Join ArtReach as we complete a fun Pinterest-based project in the colorful, laid-back atmosphere of our studio. We will provide the supplies, the space and the step-by-step instruction so you can leave with a fabulous project that you can take home ready to display and proudly say “I made it myself.” Sign up alone or with friends, and feel free to bring some snacks to enjoy while you work. It’s a guaranteed good time! Cost will vary.
Come color with us! Coloring is a great way to relax and tap into your creativity without pressure of coming up with a unique design. We have a variety of fun coloring sheets, markers, colored pencils, and crayons. All ages are welcome (those under 12 must have an adult present), especially adults! Coloring Nights are free but donations are gratefully accepted.
Art for Seniors in Assisted Living
We are proud to partner with local assisted living facilities to provide art and craft classes for residents where they live. We hold these 1-hour classes by appointment. If you represent an assisted living facility and would like to find out more about having ArtReach bring art to your community, email Anna at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Art for Teens & Adults with Disabilities
We are also proud to partner with the Goodhue County Educational District STEP program and the Red Wing Community Education program to provide art enrichment classes for teens and adults with disabilities.
We are able to keep our classes affordable (or often free) thanks to the generosity of individual donors and grants from Xcel Energy, the WINGS Foundation, and the Southeastern Minnesota Arts Council. THANK YOU!
