ACE Investment for Art Reach
Art Reach have received a new investment from Arts Council England as we're included in the National Portfolio of Organisations for 2023-2026
Arts Council England (ACE) have published details today of the 990 National Portfolio Organisations for 2023-2026 and we’re thrilled to share the news that we’re included. ACE has invested £446 million, each year, into organisations across the nation to bring art, culture, and creativity to more people, in more places, across the country.
We’re absolutely delighted to have been awarded £1,069,320 over the three-year period. This investment enables us to build on our work that brings artists, communities and audiences together to explore, celebrate and share creativity and culture.
Lorna Fulton, Creative Director at Art Reach, said, “We are delighted to receive funding from Arts Council England for the next 3 years, which will enable us to continue to build our festivals, partnerships and programmes to help us deliver our ambition to connect cultures through art.”
By 2030, Arts Council England wants England to be a country in which the creativity of each of us is valued and given the chance to access a remarkable range of high-quality cultural experiences. The second round of portfolio investment in Art Reach means that we can build on and contribute to those ambitions. Journeys Festival International will continue to be a leading platform for artists with experience of forced migration in which we’ll celebrate cultures together. This round of investment also provides a solid foundation for Art Reach to develop new initiatives and partnerships over the next three years.
Peter Knott, Area Director for Arts Council England said: “Art Reach inspires people to experience festivals, outdoor events and performing arts across the region and beyond. It’ll be great to see our funding support them to engage with more people and sanctuary-seeking communities across England through Journeys Festival International, bringing people from different backgrounds together.”
We’re proud to be included in the next round of National Portfolio Organisations and look forward to sharing new plans, new events and the new developments that this investment will create soon. #LetsCreate #ACEsupported
